This release has fixes related to "I haven't seen new content in weeks" and "I only see new content after posting". Again, no new features but rather a quality-of-life improvement.
When an SSB client syncs with peers, the gathered content is written to the internal immutable log which can be queried for views like the Home and Notification screens. In our app, as content is written (and validated) to the immutable log, it is also copied into a SQLite database, a "view" database. We do this so we can leverage the SQL query language, and use a native framework rather relying on the hosted Go runtime and SSB database.
A logic problem was preventing new content from being copied from the log to view database, but only after a certain combination of messages and syncing. The logic has been improved, and we now actively look for and track this condition.
Note that the first launch after installing this version may not show content immediately. Please give it a moment or two to finish updating the database, then pull-to-refresh if you don't see new content. As a last resort, you can also delete the app and reinstall to completely rebuild all content.
